My name is Bethany Wilks and I am near completing my 3 year homeopathic program at Prometheus Homeopathic Institute and I am now taking clients under supervision. A long time resident of Northern Idaho, I have practiced nursing in the quad cities’ hospitals in both ICU and labor & delivery, as well as teaching at Lewis Clark State College. I am now working to support people’s health in a more holistic model of care.
My business name, Sisu Homeopathy, is inspired by my Finnish heritage. The name Sisu reflects a deep inner strength- a quiet determination to persevere and rise above the challenges. It speaks to bravery, steady grit, resilience, and an unwavering spirit, even in the hardest moments. This is the energy I bring to the clinic to walk alongside with you on your healing journey.
Homeopathy is a gentle, individualised system of care that works with the body’s natural healing response. During a two hour intake consultation I explore the whole person — physical symptoms, emotional patterns, stress responses, sleep, energy, and overall wellbeing — in order to understand each person’s unique experience of health allowing me the Homeopath to choose the best matching remedy for the individual. One hour follow ups every 6-8 weeks allow me to monitor your progress and assess if changes need to be made. Chronic conditions can take longer to untangle, slow and steady wins the race with homeopathic care.
As complementary modalities, acupuncture and homeopathy can work beautifully alongside one another, offering patients additional support for balance, resilience, and long-term wellbeing. Homeopathy does not interfere with modern medicine and can be an excellent support modality alongside any treatment plan.
